It is clear to the American People that the actions of Major Nidal Hasan on November 5, 2009 at Fort Hood were in fact Terrorism.
It is an insult to the American military men and women who were killed or injured, and their families, to call this horrific massacre "workplace violence". It is depriving these brave men and women of benefits that would be due victims and survivors of a terrorist act.
Records of Hasan's military service, his self proclamation as a "Soldier for Islam", his emails with Anwar al-Awlaki, his commentary and internet activity on Islam and Jihad, not to mention his utterances of "Allahu Akhbar" as he opened fire on dozens of US citizens is a crystal clear example of terrorism.
Set aside political correctness and the fear of insult to Islam and do what is HONEST.
