Sign an executive order establishing the White House Council on Male Education, to learn more about recent trends.

Created by A.M. on January 12, 2013

"On a national scale, public universities had the most even division between male and female students, with a male-female ratio of 43.6 percent to 56.4 percent. While that difference is substantial, it still is smaller than private not-for-profit institutions (42.5-57.5) or all private schools (40.7-59.3)."

I believe that the inequitable distribution of males in our systems of higher learning constitutes a potential national crisis. I would like the Obama administration to create a council or task force to investigate why this educational disparity is happening, and what can be done to encourage more men to seek entrance into univeristies and colleges.
