Recently, there appears to be a "war on the American Flag" or patriotism being waged by city officials, private associations, and communities. There should be no circumstances in which US citizens should be prohibited or restricted from or punished, penalized, suspended, fined for displaying the flag of the United States of America, either as an actual flag, a sticker, tattoo, painting or other representation. Far too many veterans and citizens have given their lives to protect that flag and what it stands for to allow this "war" to continue. I write this petition asking for you to sign an Executive Order granting this protection to citizens and work on Congressional legislation codify in this protection into law. You swore to protect the Constitution. I call on you to protect the flag.
