We The People of The United States hereby petition the Obama Administration to sign an Executive Order to continue Emergency Unemployment Compensation!
Today 3 Million formally working Americans have been cut off from EUC since December 28th, 2013.
Thus far Congress has refused to work together and extend these vital benefits to Americans in need of a stop gap between middle class and poverty!
We ask President Obama to sign an Executive Order which we have seen him do on everything else except EUC.
Fact:
1. EUC lapsing is/will cause other under regulated federally funded poverty programs to be funded.
2. 3 million Americans have had 0 income since EUC lapsed that # doesn't include children and spouses.
Letting this go on any longer is irresponsible and heartless!
