With the abuses running rampant in our welfare system with funds going to people who are not using these monies for sustaining life but buying drugs and neglecting their children, we would ask the government to require mandatory drug testing for any and all applicants to public assistance. Most employers today have instituted this requirement and it makes sense to have the same requirement before state or federal funds are freely handed out. We do not promote discriminating of people who truly need the assistance but do not think it is prudent use of funds to allow drug users the ability to continue their habit on the backs of the taxpayers.
