Our United States Congress has become a group of ineffective career politicians. They worry more about getting re-elected than they do about standing up for what is right! They only work for half of their term before they start campaigning for re-election, admittedly holding off voting on important topics until after an election to make it a campaign topic.
They do not represent us anymore, they represent their corporate interests that donate to their campaigns.
