When we enlisted in the military to serve our country, we were promised lifetime benefits, including medical benefits to be provided by the VA. The Bush administration created 8 "groups" according to income by geographic areas which removed VA benefits from the MAJORITY of honorably discharged Veterans. President Obama promised to sign a executive order reinstating ALL veterans to the VA if Congress refused to. Congress has to date not reinstated veterans into the VA system, so its time for President Obama to honor the goverment's promise to provide these benefits to our military Veterans.
