Sign an executive order requiring actual clinical studies for medicinal marijuana without DEA interference.

The most recent report by the DEA regarding marijuana is dated 2011 and cites organizations who's sole intent is keeping marijuana illegal while not using any source of clinical studies, only opinions. In the United States, there has been no real clinical studies of marijuana, especially pertaining to medical uses. We cannot have a truthful discussion about medical marijuana if there is no credible clinical source material confirming or denying the benefits of marijuana. Thus far 18 states and DC have legalized marijuana for medical use and in a majority of those, the best way to consume is to smoke it, though new products are being created by people every day. Please support clinical testing of medical marijuana as a simple solution to the "illegal" trade. Thank you.
