Despite calls from the community to address these concerns and actionable programs that would benefit the communities, many programs are starved of funding and local governmental support by the very elected officials placed to govern these situations.
Though much is required at the street level, much more is required to support these programs at the place of government. Without this assistance, the programs cannot move forward. Many times, the difference in support and failure lies with merely a signature of support by the local governments.
