Sign or pass a bill mandating that states do preventive maintenance to keep their roads and highways up to a standard.

Created by R.W. on December 04, 2012

Crumbling roads not only deteriorate faster, but pot holes, bumps and cracks are damaging to vehicles. This damage is not only expensive to fix, but is also wasteful. Poor road conditions attribute to faster tire and vehicle wear and result in more gasoline consumption. Millions of gallons of gasoline are wasted by these simple fixes that states and municipalities refuse to fix. Simple preventive maintenance prevents expensive future repairs on roads, vehicles and the citizen's wallet.
