We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Sign this petition If you believe that U.S. Government should help U.S. Victims of Crime Overseas obtain justice

Created by E.D. on November 07, 2016

I, Elizabeth Ding, a U.S. citizen, am a victim of crimes overseas. I have had property stolen from an apartment in Beijing where I was staying, Numerous items were stolen, including: my late father’s autobiography which he had requested to be published after his passing; more than a dozen boxes of collected news articles which he had published; several paintings, other artwork, jewelry and clothing.
Although I have reported this crime to Beijing Police and also to US Embassy in Beijing in 2012, the issue still has not yet been resolved. Beijing Police officers Fu Jinsong and Wang Meng have already discovered who the criminals are but have refused to arrest them and return the stolen property because I am a US citizen.
Please help me, a single mother, and sign this petition. Thank you.
