The new drive by this administration to spend its way out of debt has led to discussions about how to get their hands on our money. One of the ideas being thrown around by some liberal democrats and liberal professors is to nationalize private pension plans. They believe that these plans are "denying the government it's money".. The idea is to claim all pensions and have just one plan that is government run for every individual in America. They think it isn't fair for wealthier people to put more money away than people lower on the income scale. It sounds like another plan to steal the money from the working men and women to give to those who don't pay into any of the other programs. We who work want to know our money will be left alone.
