Sign (S 653), the Bill to Create a brand new post for a Special Envoy to Promote Religious Freedom of Religious Minorities in the Near East and South Central Asia, that is, someone to stand up for the survival of Jews, Christians, Zoroastrians, Druzim, Hindus, Buddhists, Animists, Kurds, Ahmadiyyas, Sufis, et cetera, & to fight against the ethno-religious cleansing at the hands of Jihadis in the Near East, Africa, & Beyond. Obviously, this includes urgent concern for long-rooted religious minorities in the former Iraq & former Syria which are currently under the threat of extinction by the Islamic State. This includes Boko Haram & the Taliban who abuse, kidnap, rape, & murder girls for the crime of education. This envoy must fight the spread of honor murders & female circumcision.
