Global warming is happening even faster than we thought and the consequences of not taking action NOW with cut our agriculture production in half, fuel more super storms such as Katrina and Sandy, and further poison the environment. As the second largest producer of green house gasses in the world, and as a world power, the United States has an obligation to be a leader in curbing green house emissions as well as developing and switching to renewable energy sources such as solar and wind, as well as increasing fuel efficiency of cars, planes and trucks.
