The citizens of our country are in desperate need of affordable health care. H.R. 676 would pay for health care through taxes which would replace corporate insurance premiums. Eliminating overhead, duplication of services, exorbitant bonuses, salaries and advertising that insurance companies waste money on would result in up to an estimated 40% savings.
Advocates of this act have been ignored. It should be signed by executive order and integrated with the ACA, keeping the best provisions of both laws. Most important is that Medicare becomes available to all, payable through taxes, with corporate insurance allowable as an excess carrier only.
