Why does the Indian constitution says that Sikhs are Hindus,or something similar!!?
When there are a million differences in Sikhism & Hinduism;
Hinduism itself a very confused religion whereas Sikhism is a very clear cut one(no offense);
Hinduism is a polytheism,Sikhism is strict monotheism;
Sikhs are against idol worship,for a Hindu idol is his dear god;
Sikhs go against unnecessary rituals,In Hinduism ritual is base.
Article25 of the Constitution of India describes Sikhism,Jainism and Buddhism as parts of the Hindu religion.
Why? Why? Why?
