mr. pres,,,this is simple, we need to treat congress and the govt like we the people have to live. there is no more money,we need to start living paycheck to paycheck just like 98% of us do every day.
we are asking that u limit the amount of any increase in the debt ceiling to essential programs. and to them the amount should be restricted to 80%of last years budget. the rest will need to find other forms of revenue or be closed.
we are in a histoical bad way. as for congress they need to take a pay cut of 15% and term limits should be inacted of 3 terms. retirement needs to be abolished. a state 401k should be set up for this purpose. their pay needs to come from the state they represent. their pay and office budget should be effectivly set by the congress of the state they come from.
