Simplify and Reduce US Code

Created by J.M. on March 05, 2013

Currently, United States Code (federal laws) and Regulations (laws not called laws) have been expanded so they no longer may be contained in one tome, but require volumes - volumes that overshadow every aspect of our lives. Far too often these onerous regulations create criminals where no criminal intent exists.

The President should veto or refuse to sign any new bill, of any type, on any subject, until accompanied by a repeal of two other laws. Congress should be encouraged to embrace the spirit of this petition, and act thereon.

Further, the President should require the cancellation of at least two topical regulations, if such exist, before allowing, approving or authorizing any new regulations.

Thus say We the People.
