Simplify and standardize our election process so that all individuals can be assured to exercise their right to vote.

Our right to vote is among the most precious of our rights as Americans. It allows us to voice our opinion and select those that will lead our government. No vote is worth more or less than the next. This is why we must simplify the voting processes and create national standards for voting. Early voting should be the same whether you are in Michigan or Arizona. There should be no laws that allow for provisional ballots to be thrown out because of a technicality in one state and not another. The number of polls in a county should be set to a standard based on population and should be consistent across the country. A national voting standard would eliminate many of the problems that we see around our elections and will serve to simplify the process and encourage more people to vote.
