Simplify the Tax Code

I love this country and I am proud to pay taxes to support our democratic way of life and the many blessings of living in the American society, but I believe that the tax code is too complicated for the average American citizen to navigate. The federal tax system is burdensome and costly for the average citizen. I implore the current administration to take the tax simplification recommendations of the Tax Policy Center run by the Urban Institute and Brookings Institute under consideration and to push for legislation that will simplify the tax code.
