Paying taxes for ordinary US citizens living in the US and abroad should be a simple, easy process and shouldn't require the use of hired consultants in order to properly pay taxes.
This bill is not to change existing tax rates, but just to make the process of paying taxes faster, easier to understand and easier to accomplish.
I recommend keeping this bill strictly about citizens paying their taxes. The corporate tax could use reform as well, but it may become too partisan a bill to accomplish. Congress should be able to come up with a way to simplify the process of paying taxes.
Simplifying the process of paying taxes would directly reduce the stress in many lives and has potential to restore people's faith in congress.
