Simplify the tax code and phase out the IRS gradually.

With our tax system, it is bloated and full of loopholes. An easier way to collect tax is from giving the consumer their whole check and charging one flat percentage tax on spending for all . This is based on the theory that the rich would spend more on housing, vehicles, etc., while the average would pay the same percentage but within their means. The people who slip through the system by getting cash for income (illegals, dealers, etc) would be taxed this way as well putting money in the system. The tax would be a simple percentage, no loopholes for corporations who would pay tax on all expenditures as well. With such a simple system, the IRS could be phased out to a tenth of it’s current size to reduce government. There is no need to fire employees, just don’t rehire once they leave.
