Simplify the tax code & reduce the size of the IRS.

Created by K.M. on May 13, 2013

The rules and regulations within the tax code are so complicated that large corporations are taking advantage of households and mom and pop shops that are fearful of IRS audits. If the tax code were simpler, there would be no reason to fear an audit because and we could all complete these without using a 1000+ page tax code booklet to prepare them.

By simplifying the tax code, more households and small businesses get to put that money and time into more productive things, and saves the IRS its own time in processing and management. This ultimately will allow the IRS's workforce to be reduced, and allow supervisors of this large bureaucratic organization to reign in control of their agents who have recently decided to take the matters of audits in their own hands.
