Today's tax code creates an enormous amount of waste and potential fraud. Businesses and individuals alike are able to effectively hide tremendous resources due to an overly complex tax system that rewards those with an already unfair advantage.
Additionally it provides politicians a convenient method to 'buy' votes from the people based on their perceived group affiliation and through offering breaks to certain groups or classes.
Current plan to increase taxes on those making more than 200K severly impact those that do the much for our society, doctors, entrepreneurs, and professionals that already give a lot in taxes. They also support others through services (lawn, childcare, cleaning) given their own lack of time yet they are now being unfairly targeted for more taxes.
