An average of five children will die today because of child abuse and or neglect. Three out of five girls will endure some type of sexual abuse, and two of every five boys will encounter sexual abuse. It was stated that there are over three million child abuse cases every year. Our children are our most precious jewels and they are the future of this country. Why is it that we are not giving enough attention to this issue? Why is it that child murders get off with a slap on the wrists? Why is it that children are returned to the same environment already proven to be harmful to them? WE THE PEOPLE DEMAND ALL CRIMES OF CHILD ABUSE BE CHARGED AS FELONIES AND THAT THE PERPETRATORS BE PUNISHED TO THE HIGHEST EXTENT OF THE LAW. Please help our children, We are their only hope!!
