Skateboarding has been frowned upon for many years because of low safety and "vandalism". There is no where to skate for everyone because no one will allow people to skate anywhere. This petition was created to make it legal to skateboard in public areas without being told to leave. This however does not mean that skateboarders should be able to get in people's way and be disrespectful. This just states that it should be legal to skateboard in public areas.
