Sleep... In School?

Created by P.T. on August 24, 2016

For the longest time, students in school have been dealing with a very crucial factor that contributes to their studies, health, and even their attitudes, sleep. On average, students sleep for 4-6 hours on school days depending on the amount of homework they receive.

If teachers are going to give a large amount of homework, they should compensate for the student's lack of sleep by giving them a 'power nap' during school.

Everyone knows the "after lunch spell" that seems to zone people out during class. By allowing the students to take a power nap, they can wake up and be ready to learn more effectively and actively.

Power naps are proven to treat sleep deprivation and resets a person's mental/physical state making them more proactive, alert, and rested.
