slow down obesity epidemic by creating a "fast-food tax"

Created by J.L. on January 12, 2013

We need to improve health and stop obesity.

If nothing change, more that 50% of Americains will be obese, with all the deseases related to it (heart attack, diabetes, cancer,...).

This is why a "fast-food tax" is needed. People probably won't change by themselves. So we need to "force" them to change. We could put the tax on chips, french fries, cola, fast-food, anything considered as unhealthy. Their price will be higher and maybe people will choose something else, healthier and cheaper.

And with funds raise by the tax, we could build places to encourage sport , like parks and pools or creating sports programs in schools.

In the end, all Americans will live longer, be more active and be richer(a lot of money is spent in health).

So let all work for a change. A true one!
