Better guidelines, treatment and protection for low income tenants against slum Lords are needed. I have at least 2 cousins who are constantly in court trying to settle disputes with slulm Lords regarding unsantitary conditions such as mold, unsafe conditions like unsecure kitchen ceilings etc.
