This petition respectfully requests that members of the small business community be provided equal opportunity to meet with President Obama to discuss solutions to the “fiscal cliff”.
In recent days the President has met with representatives of organized labor and with officers of major corporations to discuss this issue but small business has been left out of the conversation.
Small business represents 2/3 of new job creation in the United States.
We, the undersigned, specifically request that President Obama meet with a variety of small business representatives including: Dan Danner, CEO of the National Federation of Independent Business; Bill Dunkelberg, NFIB Chief Economist; and business owners who employ a range of employees from fewer than 20 to as many as 500.
