Smog exempt motor vehicles with E85, E90, E100, and propane conversions.

Created by C.M. on May 30, 2014

Current California law does not allow motor vehicles with alternative fuel conversions such as E85 exemption from smog inspection. The alternative fuel burns much clearer than gasoline and when tested has near zero emissions at the tail pipe, however because of the bolt on part needed for conversion vehicles fail visual inspection. These alternative fuel conversion can help reduce pollution from motor vehicles and should be allowed for the public.
