Social Security benefits for spouse's that are also disable, without having to divorce there spouse!

I have signed up for me disability, an was turned down! First because my husband has to much income,(On SSA). $1280.00 Dollars a month. Then they sent me to a doctor that only seen me for a few minutes, an said I wasn't disable. When she never did any test on me,or X-Rays. My C O P D, is a death sentence, an she said that was enough to make me disable. What DOES? I can't work because of my back, an my C O P D! I can't see a doctor because we can't afford insurance. So all I have is the doctors that has told me over an over again to sign up for my disability! My QUESTION for you is WHY! Why did I only have to see one doctor for Social Security? Why ? Why is my medical records not enough? Why can I not have my SSI WENT I NEED IT SO BAD? I HAVE KNOW EDUCATION, KNOW MONEY AN NOW I"m dying!
