Social Security Cap

Created by C.K. on November 30, 2012

Whereas the American people have been threatened by Congress that Social Security benefits need to be "reduced" because of a decrease in income, and

Whereas there is an income cap on the amount of income that is currently taxed for Social Security, as well as a limit as to the type of income that may be taxed for Social Security,

We the people strongly urge that members of this administration as well as members of this Congress eliminate the income caps on Social Security, requiring ALL individuals to pay into the fund, regardless of their income level. Social Security tax should be paid on ALL income - regardless of its source including both wages and capital gains income (if that is an individual's primary source of income).
