Social Security is NOT an entitlement - I paid it in!!!!

I find it maddening that Social Security is called an entitlement program. Social Security is deducted from my paycheck every week and my employer is made to match that amount. That money is mine. I worked for it and I do not pay it in for the US government to use at their discretion. It was to be placed into a trust so that as people retired from work in their later years they had monies to live on. At this point in time you are not only moving the age of retirement farther and farther back in hopes most of us will die before we can draw it, but you are also telling us the monie are going to run out within the next 20 years. Just write me a check for what I have paid in and stop taking it out of my weekly earnings and we can call it even.
