This petition is to change the Social Security sytem to allow individual accounts rather than a pool of accounts. We, our family, and our spouses should be entitled to the FULL amount of money that is paid in. Currently if we max out the SSI evey year, and die at the age of 69 and our spouse dies at age 70? The money simply disappears. That is simply not right. That is my money, my spouses money, and my families money that was forcefully taken by law from my pay check and my employer paid into this account. It is a legal ponzi scheme that needs to be changed. You should be entitled not to a portion of what you paid in but the full amount that was paid in by both parties (spouses).
