I propose the all elected, state and federal employees return to the very same social security program that we must use. Why must we duplicate basically the same retirement system 50 times for each state and once more for the federal government? If this were implemented, we could be sure that funding and solvency would never become a problem again. There are numerous jokes about this topic. Why can it not be done?
