Private Industry has repeatedly demonstrated itself incapable and uninterested in protecting our natural resources and/or placing human safety and well-being above personal profits.
These industries must become either tightly regulated or socialized to be run transparently and for the public well-being.
Salaries and Profits will be public knowledge, and subject to Not-For-Profit restrictions.
Proceeds from these ventures will be directed toward public education, public health, public well-being, public land management, and publicly directed works projects.
For too long our vast national and public resources have been privately lining the pockets of the few; now these resources should benefit the public -- to whom they rightly belong.
