I would rather NOT see the remainder of the Keystone pipeline approved, but I fear that its construction is inevitable.
Therefore, I propose, that approval be contingent on the project’s revision to require the entire United States portion of the pipeline (existing and proposed) right-of-way be completely covered with solar photovoltaic panels mounted on raised frames.
This would be a HUGE solar project; creating JOBS, reducing our demand for fossil fuels, and mitigating some of the pipeline effects on anthropogenic climate change.
