We believe that the definition of beauty and the image of power should be expanded to include the natural look of the African American community. Of course it is acceptable when both men and woman of any ethnicity want to alter their looks, but as Chris Rock pointed out in "Good Hair", the definition of beauty is severely restricted when it comes to the variety of hair styles within the African American community. The first family is in a unique position to influence a culture movement that would recognize and include the natural look for both men and women as beautiful and powerful. We particularly call on Obama himself to lead the way. Grow the fro, Sir, grow the fro.
