Soliders Deployed should have higher wages than a NFL football player or a Hollywood actor/actress

It is the beliefs of others like me that what a Contract Football player earns in the NFL and a Hollywood Actor earns in a movie, is more than what a Military Solider earns for serving his country and defending it with his life, is unjust. Why should some costume wearing bafoon make 100's to millions a year just to run with a pound of pigskin across some astroturf, or a actor/actress reading from a written script, when a uniformed solider that took an honoary oath of his own free will to defend the lives and liberty and freedom of all US citizens in this country? They deserve more respect and should be earning more in compensation for putting their lives on the line everyday in war -torn countries just so we can have our amendments and use them freely in this country
