The Federal Government continues to spend money at an alarming rate, incurring a massive amount of debt -- currently, exceeding $ 16 Trillion, all owed by Tax Payers.
A simple solution, would be to cut funding in the following areas:
- Foreign aide
- Criminal Drug Crime prosecution
- Domestic Spying (DHS, FBI, NSA, NCTC, TSA)
- Bailouts for Corporations
- Government employee pensions and retirement programs
- Government wages, by 25%
- Domestic use of Drone Aircraft
- Grants for Private Interests (Solyndra, etc)
- Foreign War on Terror
If these items alone were no longer funded, the country would be operating with a budget surplus, not a deficit. In short, a significant amount of money has been spent on bailouts, wars, domestic spying and expanding the size of government.
