solve the fundamental problem of causal inference.

Created by A.H. on March 07, 2013

My man Obama,

We, as a country, have a tremendous opportunity to tackle one of the most enduring and debilitating impediments to science: the fundamental problem of causal inference. Jake Gyllenhaal & Co. outlined the solution in the movie Source Code. I propose that we direct the $84 billion we cut in the sequestration to discovering and actualizing the Source Code technology, a machine that let's us rerun history according to our wishes. If we can pull this off, we will be able to answer some of the most pertinent questions facing humanity: who killed JFK? What if Germany wasn't appeased at the Munich Conference? What if the USA actually joined the League of Nations? What happened in Roanoke? Is Paul McCartney really dead? Who let the dogs out? And, most importantly, where is Tupac?
