Solve gun violence in schools without constricting the second amendment here is how

I have devised a plan that will end gun violence in schools while still abiding by the constitution and giving jobs to veterans. First off making large mags and military grade firearms illegal to the general public will not end in school violence, because put simply criminals don't follow laws.
To my solution; for veterans that have received weapons training, have them take a psych evaluation and if they pass post them in schools with firearms to protect our children. Pros:
Jobs for veterans who don't have one
Our kids are safe
Halt school shootings
Does not restrict firearms as they are not the issue it is the man/woman behind that gun.
