solve our nation's fiscal problem by reducing the pay of the congress, senate, and president of the United States.

Created by D.J. on March 15, 2013

We the people, the working class people of the United States of America, pay taxes that pay the salaries and pay for expense accounts of our elected officials. Yet when budget cuts are made, they come from cutting funding to essential social services and public services when our senators, congressmen, and president are paid high salaries and are given expense accounts on our hard earned dollars. Our taxes continue to increase, our benefits and availability to essential services decrease, yet these officials' pay increases yearly. We don't vote to give them a raise, they automatically get one. The fiscal problems need to be resolved by cutting the pay of our employees-the elected officials who are paid with our hard earned dollars. The pay to former presidents should also be reduced.
