As a member of the National Guard, I have a very workable solution to dissuade intruders from our public schools. As a parent of four and as a soldier, I feel compelled to protect our vulnerable children, and I would like to share these ideas with you. Gun laws and additional legislation alone cannot stop these mass shootings. Evil will always exist; and a viable means of addressing it must be found. I think this plan could be implemented almost immediately, and can be ordered at the state level, giving our children the protection they need right now. People can debate gun laws ad-infinitum, but a solution is needed today.
So many Guard members are suffering from a lack of available jobs, and so many return home after deployment only to find little if any work. They are trained to deal w
