People do not appreciate our night sky enough because we don't see it enough. We have so many lights in our world that not many people have the privilege to see our galaxy at large. What I am pushing to happen is that one day of the year, for atleast one hour, all the lights in Oregon go out so that everyone can just go sit on thier porches and streets and stare into the gorgeous sky at night. This holiday should be named Space Day, as we would be looking up at into space.
