Speak out against civil and human rights violations committed by China against the people of Tibet.

The international stage has been silent recently on the issue of the Tibetan people and their forced removal from their homeland. The true leader of Tibet, the Dalai Lama, is living in exile, while his people are watching their homeland and culture disappear under a wave of Chinese immigrants. China has forcibly occupied Tibet for more than 50 years and ruled the native Tibetans with an iron fist. Recently, Tibetan people have felt so oppressed in their own homeland that they have been sending their children over the border to seek refuge in India, and at times have resorted to self-immolation. The United States President could and should help the situation of the Tibetan people.
