speak out against the Fort Lauderdale, FL law that makes feeding homeless a crime.

Created by E.D. on November 06, 2014

The city of Fort Lauderdale, FL has passed a law that makes it illegal to hand out food to the homeless and lower class of their city. A 90 year old man and 2 others where placed in jail and time for feeding the needy. This law is unjust and is harmful to many of the citizens of that city. For the people that are handing out the food because they believe that their religion requires them to aid the needy, the law is a violation of their right to religion. For the needy that need the food to live, the law is almost a death sentence. Putting people in jail for aiding the needy will not solve the homeless problems in this country. Sign and let the government know that this inhumane law needs to be changed!
