In Texas we go to school for five days a week. You can learn just as much with a 4-day school week as a 5-day school week. By making it only four days each week allows the school to save more money, elcectricity, etc. Plus with a three day weekend, teachers will have more time to grade papers and students will have more time to finish homework. Not to mention kids will also have more time to spend with family and it works out for everyone.
