Theodore Roosevelt, philosophically the greatest President we have ever had, contributed this phrase to a West African proverb. This is the greatest ideology for handling foreign affairs as well as many other governmental issues. The signers of this petition propose that the United States handle its affairs once again with this ideology.
The US needs to declare itself a neutral country. We should only attack a nation if it attacks us. We need to end all treaties. We need to stop aiding Israel, especially since they thumb their noses at us. There is strength in independence as well as more unity with in an independent nation's borders.
The signers request that the government maintains a strong army (the big stick), but remains neutral and independent (speaking softly).
